So for polyvore I would put in my story:

What you do to make one yourself, is to look at the top of you're screen, you'll see the link "Page", click it, and a menu will appear, look to the bottom you'll see "View Source" click that, and a notebook/notepad will appear, you scroll down 'till you see
"CSS/Text start--->"
Or something near that, and you look at the code, it's simpler then HTML, and it's easier to adjust and so forth :D.
Pretty easy to understand if you take the time and cleared your mind of all negativity and such to learn and understand it.
