I'd say that you're, mostly correct.
Today I was going through everything last summer, I have no clue why, and I just almost bursted out crying. I was lost in my own little world, and I just feel like, when she calls me her 'best friend', that she doesn't mean it all the way like I do, and I don't want to ask her, I mean, I find that rude and selfish sounding. But, I don't know....
