Okay, so I read your entire About section, which by the way was extremely long, and I'm a tad confused. I don't understand why you say people shouldn't believe in something. After reading this, I got the impression that you believe in the power and authority of music in the world today. But if so, wouldn't that be contridicting the religion section? On a better note, I enjoyed how you ranted on topics that should be discussed in our culture. I don't think people show enough about themselves, I think that people are scared to reveal who they actually are. Good job with the About section, and it seems like you have an excellent music choice.

I think you are very brave for putting such a bold about me section, most people would have judged you.

I read the block of text(s). I have to say, it was one of the most entertaining and least painful things I've read on this site...

Mmmm.... lucky you.
I'm still dealing with it. But to be honest. I like to laugh at the narrow-minded people.

Ouchh... i didn't know that about Russia, to be honest; it's not a country i know a lot about. Does it have a government or is it still a kinda shitty one ruler sorta place?

*shrugs* i guess.... But you'll always end up with scars. They're a way of accounting for life, right?

Hahhah, you've got me way into this band.
They are actually really good. They're also rather original. Different sounds all being mixed in... Its good.

At least someone backs me up on this. Majority of the kids at my school are against anything different or outstandish, y'know?

hahh, i mean post-emo when i talk about this then.
Not the original emo. I need to listen to the bands on your profile... that reminds me. (:

Hummmmmmmmm... I think Russia has a silly government or ruling system if they're making it illegal for people to choose how they show their individuality. However, cutting is another subject entirely. =/
Its like attempting to make suicide illegal. Its unfair.
Cutting is stupid, yes. But sometimes its a release people use.
No matter how retarded or fucked up i sound there its true.
Also, some people like it to feel the pain/see the blood.

I hate how fake they are.
Shitt that sounds so hypocritical with some of the bands that i tend to listen to.
But mann!! Fake Tan. Bad voices. And bleached teeth.
WHYY??
The girls all look like sluts and the men all look like they think they own everyones asses. It pisses me off to no end.

Oof. Pussycat Dolls.
Now theres a girl group that make me laugh.
How bad are they??
And the fact that they're meant to be as good as professional dancers and that happens is kinda crap. Okay, if they get nervous and can't help it, its only fair. But they weren't made to do it, and they can practise.
plus the fact that they'd done it millions of times before.

Hmm... y'know.
Soooo many people have said to me before, 'oh yeah, i'm into alternative music'
you're one of the first that i know are being truthful.

What do you think of Japanese Rock?
Theres a kid at my school, i played him a j.rock song on my phone. He got into the guitar solo at the start, began to really like it.
And as soon as the japanse vocals came in. He completely disregarded it.
It made me angry enough to hit him. Not a smart move.
But he was being an idiot.

Oooh. And have you also heard about Russia deciding they're gonna make emo/goth illegal?

Well, you're level headed about it.
You're also very mutual when it comes to discussing the kind of things. And i'd like to say thank you for humoring me and having this conversation.

But to be honest, i've never really thought about a band that make thei own music polished. It's always something that comes to mind after the word 'producer' or 'major record label' come into it.
Its like, 'yupp, they're gonna fuck up bad when they're dropped'
However, now you say about the bands that polish their own music. And make it as brilliant sounding as possible. I've kind of changed my opinion.
Thing is, when it comes to playing live, you only have one chance. You can't replay the song just because you fucked up. You have to deal.

...
Dragonforce.
Don't even get me started.

Good enough.
The reason i ask that, is because a friend of mine.
He heard a song by a band called Mindless Self Induldgence[not sure if thats the spelling, i don't really like them and pay attention] And Him and I have a rule that if you say you like a band's music, you have to have heard more than just a couple of songs and have strong opinions on the band/style of music.
But it was only this one song he liked,
so he bought their album and uploaded it onto his phone. And spent weeks just listening to their music over and over until he eventually liked it.
Trouble is, he got bored of it almost straight afterwards.

To be honest... I like watching Scuzz and Kerrang!. But the videos i like more are the ones where the music is played over a live video of said group.

I noticed you said about becoming apprehensive about the band atr hearing they sound like Nickelback.

Would you ever refuse to listen to a band because they sounded like a certain other band??
And do you prefer polished music which is all recorded especially in a studio with the producer making adjustments, or a band that makes a couple of slipups or a couple of wrong notes are played during the song who actually sound real?

[wow,i've made that sound so biased, but i can't change it. I apologise.]

You'd be good at writing reviews for albums/bands, you ever thought about it??

I've never heard of the first two bands you mentioned, probably not gonna surprise you. I'm probably one of the kids that you'd laugh at for the fact that they listen to majoritively mainstream music. And Pink Floyd were popular so i'm gonna have heard of them. my dad plays them a lot, and after i got used to the music, it became okay and i began to like it.

Another question, considering you have no problem writing essays for answers (:
have you ever had to train yourself to like a band?
Or have you always just fallen in love with the music when you've started listening to it?

When you listen to a band,
Do you prefer a band that focuses more on the vocals or the music behind it?

This was just a discussion i was having with my friend Josh, about how the more 'popular' bands. Or the ones that boom in a short amount of time, tend to have a member of the band that the public adore. Simply for the fact of a certain thing about them.
An example we used was Oli Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon?
Majority of the fans for that band are because of Syke's looks.
And yes, he's a good vocalist.
But the guitar and rhythem are a lot better.

Sorry, but you said you liked to discuss music and i'm very bored.
Reply if you want.

Because I like it. There wouldn't be another reason for me to post that stuff. I hate the book Twilight, so why would I plaster my profile in something I hate? Clearly I post pictures of my favorite TV show couple together because I like it.

I just read your profile ... lots of ranting. but i didnt mind. Im going to be honest. I didn't know a lot of your favored bands. The only one i knew and have listened to was Anberlin. And i agree with the whole "emo" music thing. A lot of the music people are saying is "emo", isn't. which pisses me off. And the whole thing religion. I agree. I may have religion, but its constantly changing. And I love music, but i dont think I even compare to your love for music. hmm
