Thoughts

Reasons I love my fakeboyfriend husband:He can never leave me. He can never reject me.He is the one constant in my life.He will be here until I don't need him anymore. I don't know when that will be.One of my friends (I shall not names names) moved here this year, and now I consider her my best friend. Her parents have given her the option to move back to where she lived or stay here at the end of...

To the Readers of "Want Your Bad Romance"

To the Readers of Want Your Bad Romance (whom I love very, very much) -I must admit, I don't have much of a plot in mind for this story, and I'd like to ask you what you want to read. So… what do you want to read?Do you want an actual plot - complications, awkward situations, etc - or just a bunch of fluff? Personally, this was a project to get me writing something actively instead of planning...

Movies

Movies. I love movies. Don't you? Some say they're just a cheap substitute for books, provided so those that don't want to use their imaginations don't have to, and they just observe a moving picture on a screen. I use to have a foot in that group. I used to think books were amazing, and while movies were fun, they just couldn't live up. But then a wonderful friend unleashed the cinematic wonder...

FML

I know no one wants to hear this, but I don't care. No one reads anything else I write... And I need to vent.I'm going to fail my Trig class. I could transfer to another teacher and stay in GATE, but I'm not sure if that will be any better. I could transfer out of GATE, but that would reduce my chances of graduating with an IB diploma. I could transfer to another high school, which my mom teaches...

Others are darker and require more imagination. With the easy to fallow poems, the comments are along the lines of "good rhymes!", "very visual!", "so cute!". And on the dark poems where the meaning is...

Success

What is success? Wealthy CEOs believe they are the epitome of success, as they have money, a penthouse with a view, business skills, social skills, etc. Famous movie stars believe they are the true height of success with their name in all the papers, their faces on all the magazines and TV channels, and enough money to pay someone to dress them in the morning. Small business owners believe they...

Couplets

Couplets are an amazing thing. Seriously. I love them. All you need is two words that rhyme and a sentence or two to stick them in. And they can sound seriously magical. It's amazing. You can always change the phrasing between them and keep the end rhyme the same, creating a completely different couplet with the same end rhyme. It's so cool! My rescent inpiration - by way of Secret Circle - is...

Character Exercise

I was just thinking... I know, dangerous...But I get into serious creative ruts, you know? Sometimes, I can make characters, but I can't get the story moving. And just pondering the fact, I figured that you could create characters and try to follow another book. Actually, I think I've heard of this somewhere but can't remember where. So you create characters and use a novel for inspiration. Start...
