I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crazy Crazy Crazy My first two choices got back to me over the week-end and I got into both of them. My third choice hasn't gotten back, so I'm giving them a couple weeks before I just go ahead and accept my Anglia Ruskin offer. Also, I can have my own bathroom and room. I will only be sharing a kitchen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIFE IS GOOD. I have to get my three C's, but I'm pretty confident I can do it!

Laptop troubles. Ugh. This one likes to die at random intervals...

I have so much work lately so that's my excuse for waiting so long to get back to you. I've been sleeping less and working more. I hate it. But it's all going towards getting into university.

I know. I was honestly just disgusted with all humans that day. And I have socks with fox faces on them and they got a hole in them and I had to throw them away that same day. What a weird coincidence!

Did you hear back from the contest yet? Because I'm ready to write them a very angry letter if you didn't win! XD

That sketch is absolutely amazing for such a work in progress, okay. I couldn't draw like that if I tried my absolute hardest.

Yeah, we don't have to have answers until the second week of May. But I want mine way sooner so I can sort out my accommodation. I want my own bathroom. XD

I'm the same. It's more that I need a laptop than want one. This one works just fine but it's getting overheated recently. You definitely got things you wanted then, haha.

    I can't wait!

Lucky! I wish we had some activities or something. We just do our exams and then get expected to clear off. I will be going in to say goodbye to my teachers though, for sure!

I'll be okay. I have more emotionally damaging events happening. I saw a fox get mowed down by a car this week and I almost threw up while these teenage girls took pictures and laughed. I was totally shaken up - it was disgusting. Foxes are so cute.

I hope they get it too! They better. If they have any taste then you'll win for sure!

Is the banner not showing up or is there no banner for Silver?

Sorry about that! I just felt like I wanted a change and so I changed it, but that's it now. I plan on not changing it ever again. We'll see how that goes.

I've sent my applications and all I have to do now is wait for responses from the universities. I'm really nervous but here's hoping they get back to me soon. I found out they don't actually have to respond for a while but I'm hoping I'll at least hear from one of them within a weeks time.

I'm so glad that it was all online because I'm ridiculously unorganised and would just be running around screaming by this point.

Me too! It was my last Christmas of being spoilt, but I still have a birthday to go! I already know I want a new laptop before I go away to Uni, so I'll be picking an expensive one, naturally! XD I got DVD's galore - 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, Vampire Diaries, Fringe to name a few of the TV shows. And The Great Gatsby on DVD. And I got about £80 and plenty of chocolate. And a mug with Grumpy's face all over it from Snow White. And two starbucks mugs in this thing with hot chocolate and chocolate coins. It was all just amazing. What were your best presents?

Aw, thank you! That's awesome, I can't wait to see who it is and how amazing they look.

Here's hoping it does! This year is a pretty big one for both of us what with 'graduation'. I mean, we don't have a high school graduation over here, we just leave, but you get my point.

Yes, jokes should never be emotionally damaging. I was not impressed.

Crazy That's great! Good luck in the contest. Did you just submit one chapter, or condense the whole story down?

That's nice of you, but not a great idea! XD I'm going to email my teachers and ask them when it's an acceptable hour and demand they email me back ASAP. Forget having a personal life, Mr/Mrs Teacher, I am more important. lmfao

That is annoying. Ours is all digital. We put all our details, including our choices in order of want, and then the website sends it off to them for you in a little bundle. They reject about 50% automatically for not having the right grades for the course e.t.c, and then they sort through the promising ones to see who looks better - by looking at predicted grades for the end of the year and our personal statements. I only had to do one rough draft before my teacher said my statement was really good so I like to think it was pretty damn amazing. Even if "one of the sentences was too long".

Pssh, artistic license. My sentences can be fifty lines long if I want. It's a writing course. XD I could go on, but I've ranted enough.

Yeah, it's nice to be with the people you love most without the arging and family drama. I did really appreciate the presents though, I'm so not the type of person to expect a lot and this year I was pretty spoilt.

According to my friend, pasta should be salted and me putting pepper on it is weird if there is no salt.

That was one of the best sentences ever. I'm forever going to talk about my 'vertical well-being' when people say I've grown.

That's scary. At least you were okay though.

It would not class as a break if you drew something for me! I may request one later on, but I'll let you get through your billion and one requests first and then I can wait until the requests slow down a little and then bam, I bump it up and back on everyone's radar. Cute

This post is so long, but I have things I want to tell you.
    1. It's past midnight in the UK. Happy New Year! New Year isn't important to me at all, I don't even really class it as a holiday but, you might, so Happy New Year!

    2. My friends made me cry today. I was a mess. She played a joke on me where she pretended she thought her Nan was dead. I was like, "who does that?!" Her Nan is like, an extra grandparent to me, she calls one of the rooms in her house "my room" because I always sleep in there if I go 'round. It was so upsetting, I was so pissed afterwards. It's good that I'm so forgiving, because I think it was not so funy. Though a lot of other people found it pretty hilarious.

I'm so glad for you! I can't help but be a little jealous. Cute
First, they sent it back to me because the computer system thing they have felt one of my sentence was 'too long'. Then, my teacher sent it back to me because the exam boards hadn't been put in. I don't know my exam boards. Facepalm Turns out I was supposed to.

Glad to hear you had a nice time. I only spent time with my sisters and parents, we don't really see any of the other members during Christmas time. Though I did see my Nan Christmas Eve because it's a tradition and we love her to pieces. I got a whole stack of DVD's and books. Every present I got was square, haha. XD

You've never put pepper on pasta? I thought that was a thing, but maybe I'm a food revolutionary? lmfao

The ceiling had to collapse the day I was in London, that just like me. I always hear about things happening around me, but I miss out the excitement. Not that I'd want a ceiling to collapse on me, of course.

Sorry about that, haha! I just had to let you know that I love your drawings - again - and it must be nice to get so many requests but pretty daunting too. Make sure you take regular breaks! Cute

Crazy Well done you!! Where is it?
My application has been sent back to me. Facepalm Twice. Facepalm Facepalm I can't even send it off again until the second week of January.

Loved Christmas. Loved it, loved it, loved it. How was yours? Get anything good?

With Pasta, I'm more about the pepper content than the salt content.

I really should do some school work, but I really can't be bothered. Oh, I'm so lazy.

I was in London when it happened, but I didn't even know about the ceiling collapse until I got home. So, I was absolutely 100% fine. And I totally delivered on the pictures galore thing but I had a new phone for Christmas and I'm an idiot. Combine the two and you get me 'resetting' my old phone so it wipes all my London photos and videos. Sad It was the only bad part of Christmas.

Further Education! Why are we doing this to ourselves again? XD

Well, now it will make your holidays that bit better, knowing your future is going to be okay! Cute Speaking of the holidays. I am so excited. Like, seriously, child mode activated.

Aww, that must have sucked for everyone, but at least that's behind everyone. We had a similar issue with teacher strikes and things last year. Yeah, just a little something to show your appreciation is always well received.

Yeah, I'm not so worried about pizza. I feel like it's one of those things I won't be lacking wherever I go. Man, I love pizza. And pasta, yes! I have pasta with most of my meals too, I'm not the biggest fries fan, so pasta is always a good thing.

Great! Urmm, I think I'll go with Hello, World - just because I feel like fantasy is going to be a common choice in my group. I'll re-read and let you know what bit of the story I'd love to do, unless you have any specific bits you'd want me to do? Crazy I can't wait for my film studies teacher to read it.

I'll swap you my day in London for a day in New York, okay? Cute It isn't really much nicer than a mall, as long as the mall is decent. But I guess it depends when and where in London you go. Like, South London is meant to be really rough and just, not a good place to be. London is lovely though, and I can't wait for the London Eye - I've never been on it. There will be pictures galore!!

Also - comment number three XD - thanks for the comment on Incantation. You need to stop being the best twin ever and stop paying me with compliments that I don't even feel like I deserve. Sometime I actually believe you when you tell me how amazing I am, so thank you for that! Cute

Refer to my below comment to see that I'm am so happy for you! It doesn't seem like I'll be finding out until after Christmas, but I will let you know as soon as I do!

We don't really, in a general sense, but I definitely want to get a few things for a couple teachers before I leave the school for good. Just the ones that I know have made an impact on my life - like my English teacher who is totally the biggest Christmas lover ever but tries to cover it up by being a Scrooge. XD

I totally can not sing. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do because I think I made the new teacher think I'm fantastic because I was talking about how I got the solo in this huge assembly as she walked past, but I was talking about when I was ten years old!

I hope so. I'm going to miss a lot. Like Chinese food... I'm so picky with it. There is one place I go to in the whole of my city, and if it's not from there, then I'm not happy. I wish I was one of those people that actually liked a lot of different foods. My major food groups are pizza and dessert. Facepalm

That sounds like a plan! I actually have to write a scene of a screenplay for my Film Studies coursework, so, if there's a scene of Hello, World or even Silver that you want written, I could totally do with the inspiration. Just give me a chapter and I'll make it a scene. I won't be able to credit you, because it's coursework, but it won't be published and I can share it with you on here. I feel like I'm wording this so you can't say no - feel free to say no. Or is that just making it sound like you can't say no even more? Just, tell me no if you want, okay?

It is kind of strange to think that I could just hop on the train to London at like, any time, and think nothing of it. Then there's some people who dream of going there. It's just a huge, busy, outside mall - that's the best way I can describe it to you, anyway. Oh, and there's a boatload of theatres.

Yeah, to summarise - I will reply fully when I'm not in school, and you are amazing. Thanks for sharing the news with me.

It is sort of the same thing. It’s the same idea, of teachers talking about how great you are. XD Do you have any idea as to what he’s into?

Yeah, knowing I am close enough to go running back home is a huge relief. I’m such a baby.

Oh, God. I’m so happy that I haven’t had to do maths for so long. You Americans and your continued maths lessons. Just why? I will embarrass myself. I’m actually thinking of doing the song Orange Sky. But I’ll probably find a reason to do something else when I sing it and hate my voice.

Vimto isn’t actually alocohol, but I did some research and apparently it’s British so… that’s sad. I hope I can find it in a world food aisle in a store somewhere when I’m out in America.
I will not ignore the antlers. She can hide them under her hat! I actually think it was a cute addition to the character. Maybe if I edit it and make it bigger (which I plan to do in the future), I can have Mason tell Lena the story of the Forest Girl and he describes her as having antlers and then when he meets her she can get offended. Thanks for the idea.

Trust your instincts; you totally know what good writing is! I did adore Hello, World so it’s not issue. I was actually dreaming about it as a film last night but there were some weird changes. Like, World was sort of mean – meaner than he is in the story anyway.
Guess what?! I’m going to London next Thursday and I’m going to go on the London Eye and it’s going to be magical. I’ve been once before, to see Wicked, but this time it’s going to be Winter and my friends will be there and just, aghh, I’m excited.
In other news, Christmas is so close. I’m going into full festive mode. I’m talking decorating the tree in a Santa hat and everything.

I've not heard back yet either! I sent it off last Thursday and the universities are just waiting for my reference - do you have references in your applications?

It was sad, but I'm glad that I'll get to see her again before I leave. There's such a big part of me that's excited to leave and a big part that's really scared.

I will not be fine, and I will not shush. I don't think I can pull it off. Facepalm What am I going to do?

Yeah, two of my friends will be up dancing like no tomorrow and getting drinks slipped to them (it's a school thing, but the club basically told the teacher there going to be chilled about drinking since we're all at least seventeen) and my other friend and I will just talk about how boring we are. XD

I don't celebrate Hanukkah, but I bet it was lovely for everyone that does. And the super holiday of ThanksChrismikkuh must have been fantastic. tehe

I get 'tempted' too, then they laugh when I pull disgusted faces. The only thing I drink is like 2% alcohol and tastes like Vimto. You have Vimto in America, right? I actually don't think you do, but it's good and you can get fizzy pop Vimto or like, Vimto juice.

That drawing actually left me feeling so happy. I'm still just, like, giddy. It's weird that I created this character and you spent time and effort and you drew her and I feel special and it's so nice of you. It's so, so good. It's better then I described it, and if I ever use it as basis for an actual published story, I will make sure she has antlers and your illustration will be going inside it and you will be getting money. I swear it.

That would be totally crazy! I haven't sent off applications yet though, I've got that to look forward to in the next couple of days. Aghh! Crazy I'm scared. And excited.

Cinderella was amazing. I loved every second, and my drama teacher left two days after the show to have her baby and I cried like a loser because she's been my favourite teacher for like, six years, and she's so unprofessional with us - like a friend really. I'm so happy for her, and can't wait to see her and her baby girl in Feburary. She's coming in to school to see us when we do our variety performance unit.

I have to sing in front of people in that unit. Help me. I'm looking through my O.C music playlist for something good to sing that nobody will know, and therefore I can mess up and not be anywhere near as good as the original and nobody will know.

I dread going to parties. There's a 'Christmas social' coming up that seems like hell and I'm thankful to have a best friend who has Social Anxiety and won't go - she understands my hatred for people.

Speaking of thankful... happy belated Thanksgiving. I don't celebrate it but it sounds like an occassion where lots of food is eaten, so, that's great! It was Thanksgivingsukkah this year, so technically, it's ThanksChristmukkah, right?

I can't wait to not drink! Facepalm My family are big drinkers, so they are shocked to say that least. They can drunk around me while I have a party I never wanted and just want to be in bed, watching Peter Pan and wishing I never grew up.

This comment was huge. You'd think I'd have less to say after 5 days. Nope, I'm a talker. I'll shut up now.

No, that's a lie. Howl is amazing. I had to backtrack and re-read the last couple of chapters of Silver, because I forgot the whole reassigning of identities and stuff. Also, thanks for the little title credit thing, you totally did not need to do that. Cute

Thank you! And I know you'll get in. How could you not?

I shall try and catch the first few episodes this week, after Cinderella. The first performance is on Tuesday and I am freaking out majorly.

I mean, I like to think I'll be adventurous when I'm older and more free to make choices, but I'll just a movie-loving hermit. XD

He is still cute but very agrivating. He is such a biter. I can finally say I understand why animals get abused.

Not really. Of course. I promise we treat him right! lmfao

Well done you! Exams never go well for me. Well, I'm glad you had a good birthday, even if it's not the milestone event it is over here. Mine will be hilarious, I don't even drink.

I love the idea, I'd definitely try to buy it a few times, but I probably wouldn't have the money for every issue. I'll saving buying every issue until I'm at Uni and have my own money.

Wow, what are the big ones? I'm applying for three. I really, really want to go to Anglia Ruskin but I applied to Chester and Birmingham City just in case.

Did she take it well? Those British guys had a responsibility to tell her! XD

I don't watch that show, but my best friend literally begs me every time she watches it. It's her favourite show right now. Not including the 150 others that she calls her 'favourite'.

Jeeze! Getting hit by a car, that sucks. Was she badly injured? It must be great getting those DVD's though. And having nothing to do but sit and eat while watching movies... that pretty much describes my dream lifestyle.

He's a boy, and he's called Diesel (so not my first choice for a name... or my last) and he's excitable a cute and just chewing God damn everything. He actually loves the taste of the anti-chew spray we brought so he was really going at everything we'd sprayed. lmfao Only the dog we pick could love that stuff.

Well I'm glad you had a good day despite SATs, did you have a wild party? I don't imagine you having a wild party, but you might've. Is being 18 a big deal in the states, 'cause over here it's HUGE. I mean, it's all because you can drink and drive a car but I guess you guys do those things at 21 and 16, right?
