With your story, I think long chapters are better in the long run.
And name the chapters. If you just go by chapter 1 ,2. 3. 4. ...etc.
It's just not as fun.

I was really worried about the lyrics because I wanted them to be as close to Alex's as possible without it being a song that already existed(:

haha you know that's actually proved quite tricky, making sure that things fit with that first chapter has been tough! :) cos i've got like a system in my head of how that result is achieved and then i find that certain ideas just won't fit and certain details aren't quite right. it's all in the detail i've discovered. cos if one tiny thing is out it could screw up the whole plan. wait, that makes it sound like i've actually planned the story. which i haven't. but i had to get that like "theory" worked out in my head so it worked and slotted together smoothly. does that make sense? no? damn. :s

make that the next few chapters... lol
