@ Damsel Of Darkness That's true, I get irritable whenever I'm caught in the rain, haha. If I can come up with the money, I'll just take provisions with me. Floppy sun hat, cream and lots of water!
@ rachthebat. Yeah, with Soundwave, it was pretty much a guarantee that it was going to be hot. I knew that when I got the ticket, so I was fully prepared. Though honestly, I think it's better to be hot than pissing down rain. That would definitely put a downer on the whole day.
@ Damsel Of Darkness That's one thing that is putting me off Download, whether it will be sunny. British weather is really unpredictable, so I won't know until the day of the festival. But I can't see me standing around in the sun all day.
@ rachthebat. Haha, I tell my guy he sucks all the time, just coz. Hahaha. I was super lucky I didn't get burnt at Soundwave, we were in the sun quite a bit but I re-applied my sunblock like a crazy person every half an hour. Haha.
@ Damsel Of Darkness None taken, I tell him he sucks because of it all the time, hahaha. He's so lucky. Me too, I use factor 50 sometimes and I still burn >.<
@ rachthebat. Argh, those people suck. Hahaha. No offence, but it's just not fair. My mum can do the same, she just tans nicely where as I'm guaranteed to burn, even with sunblock on.
@ Damsel Of Darkness My boyfriend is one of those people, he can sit out in it all day and not burn once. He's dark skinned, black hair, I'm so jealous! Haha. An hour tops, and I'm scurrying away to find shade XD
@ rachthebat. Exactly. I burn easily too, so I avoid the sun as much as possible. I've never been one of those people who enjoy just sitting in the sun, I always get hot really easily. Much easier in winter. Haha.
@ Damsel Of Darkness I prefer winter to summer, too. Yeah, you can deal with the cold, just snuggle up under a duvet or throw a few layers on, haha. Heat, I can't stand it. And I'm really fair skinned so I get burnt easily and suffer with headaches a lot. D:
@ rachthebat. Our summer wasn't too bad, but it didn't have as many super hot days as it used to. We're in Autumn now, which feels about right, since the days are warm but the nights are cooler. I'm looking forward to winter, I like the cold. It's easier to deal with than the heat. Haha.
@ Damsel Of Darkness I think that's already happening in the UK, haha. Our last winter was relatively mild, get to spring and it's effing freezing! I doubt we'll have a summer this year, either. Last year, we had two weeks of awesome weather in April, then rain until October, when it just got cold and yucky.
@ rachthebat. I swear, thanks to global warming and all that, it won't be long until we swap seasons altogether. What's normally winter here, will be summer and vice versa.
@ Damsel Of Darkness It's the same here, yesterday I actually had the windows open and went without a jacket coming home from work. But today, it's been hammering down all day. I wish it would make up its mind, haha!
@ rachthebat. Ours is really strange. One day it's super hot, next it's freezing. Last night, it was quite chilly, then all of a sudden it got really warm and I had to change into cooler clothers. So weird. Haha.
Well, I hope you can get it
