I've been writing for a long time. I obsess over rewriting. It's a favorite activity. I started off in regular fiction, moved to Harry Potter fan fiction, then moved back to original stuff. I find it's much easier to make up my own canon than to stick to someone else's.
In the past, I've been more of a comedy writer. Y'know, bringing on those laughs. Recently, I've been trying to move more towards horror and spookiness. We'll see how well that goes, eh?
My favorite things are old things, or at least things that appear to be old. For example, my favorite books are the ones that are crumbling with age. Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre to be exact. I enjoy reading most things old-y and romantic-y or adventure-y or fairytale-retelling-y. If you have any recommendations, do tell.
Movies. I usually don't watch them too often, but it happens. First of all: Dark Knight. Obviously. Additionally, Pride and Prejudice (1995), WallE, Luther, Beauty and the Beast, V for Vendetta, Muppet Treasure Island, and Lord of the Rings.
