That could very much be true, but I'm hoping it would just give them each a distraction from us so that then we could plot our escape Really? That's crazy how it works out that way. I'm not as much like my mom within our family, but there are sooo many times when I'll be interacting with people at work and just think to myself, "Oh dear lord, I'm acting just like Mama " But it's not necessarily a bad thing because my mom's super-friendly, and up until I got into college, I was always a little more on the quiet/shy side. She's just annoying as hell to me It is a very strange mindset/culture. I feel like I'm the only relatively "normal" twenty-something-year-old I know in that aspect. My best friend is married, has a house with her husband, and they're doing fertility treatments right now in hopes of having a kid. My other close friend that I grew up with has a nine-year-old daughter and had another son a few years ago that she gave up for adoption, and here I am, single and still living at home I feel like this giant woman-child.

I kinda get the feeling that that's exactly what it is because I've been stressed to the max recently and running on not nearly enough sleep I'm hoping that, once the new girl here gets into her normal position, things will slow down at work a little and fall back into the normal flow. This week has been just as crazy for me, but I feel like the end is definitely in sight I'm getting my car fixed next week, so once that's over and done with, I'm hoping things will be better. I've been doing okay. Really tired for no apparent reason and I got absolutely none of the things done that I set out to do this weekend, but other than that, I'm okay. I'm trying to be ridiculously optimistic for the upcoming week

That sounds exactly like my mom Last week, I think it was, I had to stop by Walmart and get my groceries after I got off work, and my mom freaked out and was blowing up my phone because I was an hour later coming home I was just like, "MAMA, I AM A GROWN-ASS WOMAN! YOU KNOW IT WAS PAY-DAY, I NEEDED FOOD" Oh lawd, your mom sounds just like mine Like, my mom gets super-offended everytime I even barely mention possibly moving out, and I swear that she's convinced that when I do get my own house, get married, have kids I'm supposed to just move her into a room in my house.

That's definitely something to be proud of, imo Oh dear gawd, that's hysterical Your mom just wants to steal your trophies.

Fortunately for me, I'm the only one in my office who works the night shift, aside from a couple part-time people who work Monday and Friday nights, so I can pretty much do whatever I want

It's okay, I still think of myself as a big giant kid myself, mainly because I still live at home with my mom, and she can't seem to wrap her mind around the fact that I'm 24, so she still tries to baby/parent/shelter me I'm glad you're able to admit that! I'm trying to get back into the swing of writing regularly myself, mainly because I rarely ever have the time to anymore, and because I haven't been writing as much, the quality of my writing is pretty much shit now But yes! I'm sure it was beautiful Yeah, I'm fine, I just sort of skimmed the wall going down the ramp of the parking garage where I work, so both passenger side doors are prett fucked up I spent most of my time before work yesterday just driving around and getting estimates to fix it. It can be covered by insurance, but there's like, a $500 deductible, and since I'm still only 24, my rates would jump up, so I'll come out cheaper if I just pay to fix it myself.
