  • Lol aw. (: My grade 6 teacher literally had an affair with the female gym teacher (he was the male one). They were both married at the time and they ended up divorcing their spouses and marrying each other. The year I left the school, they went on their honeymoon. XP It was interesting.

  • Aw, I had an AMAZING teacher in grade 8. He's one of my favourite teachers that I've had, actually.

Crap, that sucks. ): Do you guys have the beep test and all that garbage?

  • I used to be great at it in middle school, but then in grade nine I had a HORRIBLE teacher so nobody learned anything, and in grade ten the head of the math department was my teacher and she was really hardcore so I barely passed. By grade 11 I just sorta gave up on it altogether. XP

Aw, that sucks. We have to take it in grade 9 and that's it. I think our government wants to change it so we take it in grade 9 and 10, though. It would have no effect on me though, obviously.

  • Yeah for us we have IEP, essentials, applied, and academic. I take all academic. Except for grade 11 math, where I took the joined course of applied and academic, so it was in the middle. And I barely passed. I suck at math. XP Thank god I don't need to take it this year.
Last semester of gym? You guys need more than one? o_O

  • So do you guys only have two levels of classes, or three? :/

Aw, well good luck with him! (:
    August 30th, 2009 at 04:46am
  • Exactly, it's like the equivalent of you guys saying 'huh'. If anything we might say eh a BIT more often, but not much.

Ohh yeah, I always forget our schooling is way different than it is for you guys. Here, college level are the lower classes, and university level are the harder ones. And then there's what we call 'essentials' classes, for absolute morons. XP

Aww. Are you guys friends or just sort of talk once in a while?
    August 30th, 2009 at 04:25am
  • Bahaha! That's great. Not gonna lie, I say eh. But it's not like some Americans make it out to be by thinking we say it like every other word - it's more like, "I know, eh?!" or, "[insert rhetorical question] eh?" We're not like, "HI, EH, IT'S A GREAT DAY, EH, I'M GONNA GO MOOSE HUNTING, EH?!"

Ooooh, those are both exciting things! (: College classes, that's cool. You mean as in college-level in high school, or actual college-based courses?
    Aww, who's the guy? :D

  • Baha. I find in the northern States the knowledge isn't so bad, but the more south you get the more ridiculous everything is. When my dad was a kid, he went to Florida and told a bunch of kids that he had a world-champion dogsled team and could build an igloo in five minutes. My friend's brother is in the army and him and a few friends convinced some Americans that when they were in the States, it was the first time they'd seen grass. People believe this. :|

Haha not much, just getting ready for back to school and such. I'm so busy this week. D: How about you?
    August 29th, 2009 at 11:15pm
  • Yeah, we don't get taught anything about the States either - we learn about our history which of course brings us to learn about England. It just gets irritating though when there are Americans who really do think that we all live in igloos and ride moose everywhere. It's like, okay, we're your number one political partner and you're seriously that ignorant? -__- Baha.

  • ...Would you SERIOUSLY believe me if I said yes? :|
It does in like, Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. (I highly doubt you know what I just said so in other words, the very upper part of Canada. Like, on your way to Russia.
It's sad how Americans know absolutely nothing about Canada. No, not sad. Scary.

Sorry if that seemed bitchy. I'm in a mood. D:<

  • Ah, I hope it happens! :D
We never get holiday shows, we suuuck. Actually, the reason is most likely that bands freak out at the thought of it. XP "CANADA? IN THE WINTER? I'M NOT SLEEPING IN A DAMN IGLOO, FUCK THAT SHIT!"
    August 28th, 2009 at 01:34am
  • Mhm (: I think your wish may come true, because they seem to always do Christmas shows in Baltimore. Probably so they don't have to be traveling everywhere during the holidays, I'm sure.
    August 28th, 2009 at 01:04am
  • I know! I hate it when they release dates in groups. I get so impatient.
But Alex told me they were coming back in the fall, and I don't think they would ever not include Baltimore seeing as they're basically from there.
So, I continue to wait. XP
    August 27th, 2009 at 03:27am
  • Pshh, they haven't mentioned a Baltimore date yet. There's one more round of dates coming though, so hopefully Baltimore and Toronto will be there (:

The way they're announcing this tour is really getting on my nerves.
    August 27th, 2009 at 01:54am
  • Hmm, what city would you be seeing them in? I could check the presale dates for you, if you want.
Unless they're posted on their Myspace or something already, idk. I never bother with Myspace anymore.
    August 27th, 2009 at 01:13am
  • Ohh that's right. Aw, that sucks. Just give it time. (: Are you going to see them on the GK Tour?
    August 27th, 2009 at 12:14am
  • Sorry this is a little late, but so do i! My dad would have to take me, and he said I already saw them and Hey Monday this year, so I dunno if he'll take me.
    I might try the whole early Christmas/birthday excuse.(;
    August 26th, 2009 at 07:05pm
  • Aw, you haven't? Have you seen them before?
    August 26th, 2009 at 01:39am

    August 25th, 2009 at 08:47pm
  • LMAO! That's hilarious. Too bad they aren't! XP
I've never even been near there, unfortunately. It's on the to-do list, aha.
