The mod was in the Green Day thread telling people to stop spamming because they were talking about Billie Joe playing a ghost on Haunted. Everyone kept saying that they were discussing the show, and the mod was saying that they were making it up. I went it at one point and said that if she wasn't a Green Day fan, then she had no right to come into the Green Day thread and tell us that we were making stuff up when we weren't.

Ooh. When I was banned for "spamming" (I put it in quotation marks because I still don't believe I was spamming- I just pissed off a mod), it was for a month.

And yeah, I totally get how difficult it is to not tell someone they're being stupid. I'm having problems with some people right now. =\

:( I was banned from the forums once for "spamming." It kind of sucks, but it's not nearly as horrible as being fully banned. XD

So, is it a month-long banning?

OMG! I heard Medicate (thanks to your post on the AFI thread) a little while ago! It's amazing. I really love it. Davey's voice is :cheese: and the instruments... wow. Especially Jade's guitar parts... Holy crap.

Well, it wasn't so much the fact that they were AFI lyrics. I wanted to get a tattoo of a tree on me- maybe it sounds silly, but trees just represent strength and growth, and I was 21 when I got it. Anyway, the lyrics I had picked out just fit perfectly with how I thought of trees: "I watched it grow, I felt it change me."

But I'm glad you're not one of those kids who's like, "I wanna tattoo!" just for the sake of having one. My mom made me wait until I was 21, but I had wanted the tattoo I got ever since I was 18. I'm glad she had me wait, though. It really is a fairly big decision.

Anyway, pretty much every single song from STS is one of my favorites. DU is also one of my favorites albums- just because the tone of it is so different from all the others. =D

And yeah- Cereal Wars is a great song. I love all their old, goofy ones... Cereal Wars, The Chicken Song, I Wanna Get a Mohawk (But Mom Won't Let Me Get One), Rolling Balls, Mini Trucks Suck... great stuff. XD

Yeah, but at least it's something until the boys finally release the single.

Favorite album is Sing the Sorrow. It's what got me into AFI, and I just think it's absolutely amazing. Favorite song is a bit more difficult... I really love The Leaving Song pt. II (I even have lyrics from that song tattooed on me), but I also really love Now the World, 6 to 8, Affliction, and The Prayer Position.

Okay, well, first off, the cut and splice of the song cracked me up. I know that's not how the actual song is, but still. It was kinda funny.

Anyway, it kinda sounds like DU AFI with Blaqk Audio lyrics. I like the song. Jade's guitar work is definitely amazing.
