• Haha. I noticed! You commented on every single picture! And I loved readin your story comment, as usual. I think I've read "the meanest doll in the world"! I remember liking the first one a little better...or maybe I never got a chance to finish it...

• I know! I feel bad doing it, but I for some reason I'm completely addicted to comments and I'm not sure how to get more people to do write some. *sigh* I have significantly less commenters on this story and I don't know why.... *double sigh*

• Yeah...I have too many Asian friends, lol. But, I'm also into all sorts of other cultures and music and stuff, so I feel well rounded, lol. Anyway, thanks for the comment! As usual, I love hearing from you <3

• You know, that's very possible. I don't want to get bored of it, though! I'm afraid that I'll drop it and never end up finishing, which would be horrible. Perhaps a little hiatus is a good thing, thanks for the advice :)

Yes, I've read a couple manga in the past. Fruits Basket is my absolute favorite. And I'm super glad you think mine are like the GOOD manga where authors actually manage to combine the characters properly instead of the ones that go on FOREVER and just can't tie everything together.

• Thanks! And if you ever feel like I'm fixing what critiques you have or making things worse or just not dealing with them in Confidence, let me know :)

• I get it. I think I just can't put things in context. I like leaving the setting open-ended enough that you can read it at any time and still find it current. I'll try to be more dimensional time-wise when I edit it, then.

I see what you mean. I guess Haley recognizes her dependence in OB but I'm not sure if Trevor ever recognizes how much he clings to Haley. But what's funny is that you're picking up on exactly what this story is about: confidence and lack of it. So there should be a lot more self-reflection and self-doubt in this story than in the other ones. Any suggestion on how incan incorporate it into the other stories? I have a feeling that ISWAB is worse about this than OB, right?

And thanks again! You are my first in-depth critiquer on this site so far :)

• Yup! I told you that you gave me an idea!

And thanks for the constructive criticism :) I really appreciate it. So, just to make sure I got you right...Sometimes I have people too focused on what they are thinking and how they see things about themselves and they aren't so focused on others? And that sometimes the main character seems too perfect because they avoid their own faults? Don't worry about being too bitchy, this will definitely help when I revamp everything. I plan on doing some major editing and then hopefully trying to get It Started With a Bet published. Maybe :)

• oooh. Nice. I have to thank you now, you gave me a great idea!!!!

• Hahahahaha!!! I love that! Totally hypocritical that he would rail on guys like that. Lmao. Though it's true that guys are less mature. Why do you think girls tend to have relationships with guys older than them? Though there are a bunch of diff reasons that could happen. Anyway, that's hilarious!

• Hahaha. Yes, I noticed Jessica turning nicer, lol. I meant the question...differently. Like...if she didn't turn nice at the end, do you think she would end up cold and bitter and manipulative like Janice? But I think based on your last answer, it would be a yes. xD
March 15th, 2011 at 03:50am
• Haha. Don't worry, I love long comments, as long as there are lots of paragraphs. You are right: Jessica is, at this point, geared to follow in Janice's footsteps. Only Jessica has Emmaleigh and her brother and other people to rely on and Janice had (and has) nobody. Do you think that'll make a difference or will Jessica continue becoming a mini-Janice before someone stops her?
And don't worry about a long response, I love reading them, lol.

• YES!!!!!!!!! You got it!!!! :)))) Gah, I'm so happy ^^
most people figured out the first reason: she's jealous about the Trevor thing. But the other thing that I saw at least was that she can subconsciously tell that Haley's faking even if she can't really tell in the sense that she realizes it at all. I'm just not sure whether it bothers her because she hates who she's become or because seeing someone just like her rubs her the wrong way. What do you think?
March 14th, 2011 at 05:38pm
• Thanks! I'll definitely fix those :)
You know, that's a pretty good point. Thanks :)

• Yay! I'm glad you found it hilarious. The winner wanted me to make it funny and I wasn't sure if I pulled it off.

• Hahahaha, well, I'm glad you liked it, even if you weren't prepared :))
Yay for a diehard Coreleigh fan! Hopefully youll like Janice's story just as much :)

• Haha. Yes, the appendix. Sorry!!! But I can't go back and be like "my bad, not a lifestyle disease, just an operation" lol. Wouldn't it be nice if life were like that? But i kinda want to go in a direction where you see what life with diabetes is like. It sucks, but it's not as horrible as some books make it out to be. Besides, Corey will be with her ;)))
