While I don't understand french very well, I find that even with my limited knowledge I'm re-reading it outloud over and over. I've always liked poems written in another language. Though the translation is helpful I find the poem speaks more when I don't understand all the words.
I liked the French version better. I know most people probably won't say that, but since I can read French, it has a better ring to it in that language. I good job. I love the idea of dying of love. It's a very powerful idea.
