I really like the... blunt clarity of this poem. It's one of my favorites from you, maybe because it comes as a surprise. I was literally thinking "what incongruous things is she going to liken words to?"
And tangent, this reminded me of Brutus' speech to the conspirators when they wanted to say an oath, likening something like that to things of "cowards and priests" but I may just be all Shakespeare'd out.
