Joan This is absolutely beautiful. It definitely makes sense; it's plenty complex but never overdone or obtuse. your imagery and your diction have me practically drooling :3 And this is beautifully perceptive, too... the way it constructs her is so delicate... it's just gorgeous.
The only thing I was questioning a little was the second line, which seems a little awkward (but I have no real reason why). Overall, I think it's really, really solid. I wouldn't hesitate to submit it to a competition at all.
