Fast Forward to Happiness - Comments

As I read I picked out a few lines that I wanted to be like "I really liked this one"
But then there were to many to remember, haha
This poem was awesome, I loved it:)

[i]or a figment of my imagination
like everything else.[/i]
That line is great. It makes me think of this one story that was really powerful. These lines are the same way. And already, in the first stanza, there's a story.

The next stanza is just sweet. It makes me smile and think of happy things, which is great.

[i]Maybe we're crazy,
but insanity is all we've got.
The two of us, trapped, fragile,
trying to sew together our ripped out seams.[/i]
a) You reminded me of my favorite poet with those last two lines. And also of Fall Out Boy. XD b) It's a perfect stanza. This one is my favorite for sure. It's... it's like your guys are perfectly happy being insane. And I love it.

I like how you repeat [i]This, this is something different.[/i] It adds another little layer to the poem.

[i]Fast forward to happiness.
That smile won't leave your face,
and I can sleep without letting the tears and blood flow.
We may be broken, but together we are whole.[/i]
Sweet and clever and the first line sounds awesome. Broken but whole. This is perfect.
The whole thing flowed so easily, too. <3 Wonderful.

I really like this. The last three stanzas have an excellent flow/sense of rhythm and the last line is perfect.
