This poem made me fantasize of a scene where a slender girl is slowly flying, rising up while her skin is pilling off like when we pill an apple and soon she turns to a hundred birds flying far away making the narrator's wish true. Thank you for making me imagine that. It's magical - really.
Wishing strongly to fly, leaving everything painful behind seems like a dream I'd wish to achieve as well. I wish I could do that, and I think you wish so too.
