    This poem shows strongly the narrator tries to make her own self believe that she's just a body with no mind. She either running away from something or that's the way someone or something made her believe. It's really sad, though many people have done the same thing; making themselves believe something they shouldn't.

    An empty vessel can survive, but it would be just that; an empty vessel. Not a person, not a living human being.

    The only thing which confused me a little was the fourth line in the first stanza, even after my last breath. When someone dies the body is dying as well, and soon all the flesh disappears. Worms and bones are all that's left.
