Yet another title I find amusing. I find this very deep. I'm not sure if my interpretation is what you're going for, but I think it could be taken different ways. I find it to relate to becoming a different person. As I was growing up, I found myself looking back at my memories and realizing that I was a different person, but who I'd become since, I hadn't discovered yet.
Even now, as I'm trying to mentally transition from a teenager to an adult, I wonder who I am. I'm just feeling around in the dark, not always entirely sure where I'm going.
Without relating it to me, you pretty much nailed what it was about. It's losing sight of yourself, for whatever reason, and finding it again though you know not where that road will take you.
