This is really your first poem? I couldn't tell! You sound like you've been writing forever! ! This is really good and good job at evoking emotion. I could really understand how she felt so great job on that. The only things wrong that I see is the fact that there is no capitalization and the title doesn't really fit too well. She didn't make a promise :o Then again, poetry comes from the heart and can be written in anyway you feel is right. This is strictly my opinion. I've been writing poems for years so I do have experience just so you know. I mean I'm an ammetuer so don't take my opinion too seriously, haha.
