You are definitely a talented writer! You have a very expansive + articulate vocabulary going on there, however I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it in this context. A lot of the word choice just seems a little bit too formal to give off the same kind of charm that free-verse poetry tends to convey. But hey, it's the song of yourself, so don't let me tell you to change it :P It definitely seems sincere, genuine, and honest, so I admire that alone. This is a very nice reference to the Walt Whitman classic. Keep writing!
