Thoughts - Comments

  • @ Katie Mosing
Most of my anxiety comes from my autism, but I also think it comes from traumatic experiences with school systems. Literally everything can be an anxiety-ridden situation for me. I can't even walk out my front door without being plagued with anxiety. >< It's gotten so bad that if I get stressed, even in the slightest, that it triggers a reaction. It causes me to break out. My doctor has proven it to be related to my stress. Anyway, I do take medication to help regulate the thoughts now, but it doesn't make it go away completely. ><

  • Wow, I thought this poem was interesting the first time I read it, and then when I found out it was a poem about your anxiety, it all came together for me. I totally understand what it's like to have thoughts filling up your head in an overwhelming way - I suffer from anxiety myself and it can be a pain sometimes (although mine mostly focuses on fear of death or being a disappointment). I also know what it's like to feel like the thoughts are never going to stop - it's like all you want is just a moment of peace but no matter what you do you canont find it.
