The thing I love most about this piece is that no matter who you are or where you've come from or anything like that, it is okay, and things will be okay in the end. I like the way you've begun the poem, by describing to the readers about the 'heavy limbs' - I thought that was a good metaphor, and then saying how you don't have to be this or that or prove to anyone that you're nor a flower or a bird, you can be whoever you want to be. I think by repeating the 'it's okay', you've really hit home to the reader that you don't have to strive to be something you're not and all that. It's a lovely message to put out there.
