This poem is very sad considering how many people are affected by addiction, either themselves of their loved ones. I think my favorite thing about my poem was the last four lines - it is true that addiction never really leaves you. It is something that a person who is an addict struggles with every day, no matter where they are in life or how long they've been away from the thing they're addicted to. It is a struggle that they have to go through for the rest of their lives. I think that you did a really great describing addiction and the emotions of people that are addicted.
