This poem is amazingly well written. I really love how you went outside the box and gave some thought about what we think of today as being normal. I think you make a lot of fair points, and I love your point about black being worn at funerals, because it is just this random thing that we take as a rule, though it isn't. I think my favorite line is where you talk about the sun missing the people that are in need of a tan - that line just came out so beautiful and it was one that really spoke to me.
