I absolutely love the theme of this poem. The idea of beasts during a hunt being used as a metaphor for life is absolutely brilliant. I love the way you use the creature hunting out the weakest beings as a metaphor for people using each other to get ahead.
I also really love how you talk about invisible wounds - meaning the mental and verbal harm that we inflict on each other. That pain can be just as bad as the physical pain we receive.
This poem was amazingly written and I really enjoyed reading it. The imagery was absolutely beautiful and I think you did an amazing job conveying its message!April 27th, 2014 at 11:19pm
