Something is so extremely powerful about that first line that I can't seem to grasp it - it's deep, and it raises a lot of good questions about all relationships, romantic or otherwise. + Picking up on hidden or subtle meanings in things isn't my strongest talent but this really strikes me as a simple - poetic ha ha not punny - poem about the unification (or lack thereof) made during sex. The second line is what made that idea stand out, especially when tied with the third, but it was written so eloquently that I had to re-read it a few times.
