First off your layout is perfect! This poem is kinda spellbinding in the way that it pulls the reader into the scene and then holds them there until the end. Description, flow, layout... it's great!
I had a nice long(ish) comment and then Mibba ate it
The layout is so on point, oh my god. I'm kind of terrible at commenting on poems because I don't know much about them, but here we go.
I feel like you captured the HadesxPersephone relationship really well. It was dark but still had elements of romance in it, and I really like it. I think those would be the vibes Hades and Persephone would give off if they were real people, if that makes sense?
Your descriptions were also amazing, which isn't a surprise because you always describe things so well. I like that you really told the story, and didn't get stuck in a rigid poem outline. I find a lot of people who write poetry (I say a lot but that's out of the small amount that I've read) get lost in the fact that they're writing a poem and then the story gets lost with them, but you didn't have that problem and it was gorgeous.
Gah, but yes, amazing job! You should write more poetry because it's lovely.
This is beautiful! And very dark! Honestly, as soon as I saw the pomegranates my first thought was of Persephone. I love the way this is written in a cross between romantic and dark. Very lovely. ^.^
