Thank you so much! I grew up loving Cinderella and wanting to have love just like her, to find someone who wants me and to be stowed away from the nightmare of the world, but like I pointed out in my poem and just like you said, we all bought the bullshit and had to learn the horrible truth about love when we got older. I really appreciate your comment, but it is so true, and that was what I was hoping people would get from reading this poem.

This is so accurate
SO accurate
Because we girls grew up in a disney world and they promised we would find reciprocate love
Maybe it never happens
Maybe there are few lucky ones
But, honestly, we bought the bullshit and no one warned us that men are not charming princes
I think it's a really disappointing thing to realize, and we know that not all men are like that, but the feeling you get when you think you found someone and they just escape...
it's horrible
and i think you expressed that beautifully and truthfully
