Eyes of Black and Blue - Comments

Ah! Just a note on my comment. My friend reccomended it to me. And I didn't realize I typed his name. Sorry! This amazing though and makes me want to cry.

After I finished reading this, the title for it just made so much more sense to me - like you're beating yourself up so your eyes are black and blue like they would be in a fight. It's so sad when people blame themselves for something that isn't their fault, especially when you can't help them see it no matter how hard you try. I think this happens all too often and it is such a tragic occurrence. This poem is so deep, and every time I read it I find a new point in it - like the part where she talks about how all he does is yell at her and it makes me see that they could have been in an abusive relationship.
