The Perfect Life

Imaginary thoughts for imaginary minds
Lost in the moment, so dumb and so blind
Can't find myself and I'm lost in the lie
Lonely, heartbroken, and wanting to die.
Misery takes a hold of my heart and I find
It's all too much in the end and I cry
For help, scream in agony, despairing my fate.
When the morning comes, it will all be too late.
Nothing can save me from the thoughts in my head
Scared of the demons hiding under my bed.
I can't say a word for I feel you will see
It's not the perfect life that it's made out to be.
