Las Vegas

I've been dealt a black card
Yet again and again
No matter how I toss the dice
Luck always leans away
It falls to the rich,
the beautiful and the tall
but shies away from any
who never fit at all.
Instead we only get a whiff
Of this wicked thing called happiness
And we're left dizzy with hopeless hope
and then left to take the fall.
But life is no Russian roulette
and the pain I feel is real
Oh maker of this world,
please toss me a fair dice
even if just once,
I'd love to win it all
