Summer's coming

I feel warmth again,
The icicles are melting,
Summer's coming for me.
The sunshine melts away the frost on my skin.

I'm pulling myself over the edge,
Onto a better place.
The flowers are growing anew,
Blosseming into iridesent colors.
Change is in the air.

I'm not the frost queen anymore,
I'm a summer girl now.
My heart's healing and growing.
I can breathe now, the burden's gone.

The cold's retreating,
Warmth filling me from head to toe.
I'm glueing the shards back together,
I'm dancing to my own song.

I caught myself,
I stopped myself,
And I'm never going back.

The veil's been lifted from my eyes,
I can see the real world.
The colors seem brighter,
The emotions are happier.

I'm not a Frost Queen,
I'm a summer girl
And summer's coming now.
