Desperation

Another motel room
the first in weeks
watching our innocene
play across the sheets

your face haunts my eyes
lying still after sin
and reflects in my mind
the stalemate we're in

we're going to hell
the trigger's in reach
would courage be a friend
and end this cruelty?

and if the sun never comes up again
we can live forever the eternal damned
but when immortality takes it's toll
the price you pay is your precious soul

tracing your shadow
my hands are stained red
apathy overtakes
I move for my head
and now we're dead
