Silence.

The deafening silence of the crowd around me
It's killing me slowly, buried in sand.
Cries of happiness are mumbled vibrations
The drowning of this happiness was not planned.

A place where people shout and sing
The music around me is a beautiful thing
But it's on the other side of this huge brick wall
The words are fake, impossible to recall.

A complete barricade, no sounds can pass
You cry my name, I hear it so well
Slowly pulled out of this burning hell
But quickly dropped back, where my mind does dwell.

The acceptance of fate is an awful thing
Feel no urge to be happy, no reason to sing.
The air is plentiful, you won't die.
That is not your wish; please don't cry.

Eternity lasts a life time, please hold out.
Please don't give up, please don't doubt.
Express emotionless feelings to me, I promise to listen
In my eyes, your words truly glisten.

Each word contains a thought, beautiful in a sense
Each movement tells a story, so dramatic and intense.
You don't even notice, but I can tell.
Through these red brick walls, I'll say my farewell.
