Love Runs Distances
The states between us and the time of our age feels like a roadblock
Distance isn't difficult when not loving you at all is harder
the closer our souls are to entwining, it seems the distance is further
Distant shores and far off places many will go
The roadblocks in size seem like pebbles on the path
Flying across the ocean doesn't seem so difficult
Journeys are rough when you want your goal to come instantly
Enjoying the journey like the story makes the finish line sparkle
Hearts become entwined at the end of the race
The trophy that can't fit on a shelf
The heavenly sun warming the skin
The feel of the air swaying against the run
The heat of love feels like the heat of a long distance run
Impossible, improbable, the distance of time and space between us is
With that attitude, we'll get nowhere soon
The positive light absorbs the attitude that makes one lose hope
To break the virus that is society who curse
We inspire them to accept us with kindness and care
Our compassion is embedded onto our choice to be in love
This embeddedness makes ones take notice
At the ease of never failing our race to the finish
We can start at any time and the finish line is up to us

Restarting the race seems like too much of a hassle to some
I love to restart the race knowing what lies at my finish line is up to me
Deities above designed humans to love
They inspire us to continue to struggle against our own race
We inspire others to accept the distance is worth running
Females love males, males love females, and people love people
A minority we have to stay are until more runners join the race
As a group we cover the land like the ocean covers the beach in waves
Ideas take distance in time to create
Travelling for love takes distance in length
Our gods are even inspired to pull us together themselves
It is no question that love is not a seperate entity now
We realize it is us, after we tread the distance
we run those great distances together
Two machines of love that are fueled by love
We are inspired by our own fuel that allows us to run
And while running we achieve what fuels us
