Descending Dragons

Muscular, scaly beast
Your prey is your feast
Iridescent wings
Awe-inspiring things
Wicked claws that shine
And fear clouds the mind
Sharp teeth that tear
Screams of terror rend the air
You're really quite harmless
But there's no assuring them of this
For, as any prey fears a predator,
The believe you to by like any other
A Dragon is known to be fierce;
Cunning, strong, devious.
So play up to your image of cruelty
For they believe in this inevitably
And soon you will be
On the ground at their feet;
A horrible consequence
For all descendants
Of any beast of the skies
Who had such angry eyes
The title tells all of this;
With cruel indifference
For they are just words
To convey the true hurts:
The Dragons are descending from the sky
And I'm ashamed to say that I
Can do nothing but watch this Judgement
This cruel punishment
For the mistakes of those that came before
And I weep, for I know there will be more.
