F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
Friends are people that never let go, 2 blocks away. Or 15 million miles down the road.
They’ll be there forever, no matter how far you’ll go, to the center of the earth. Or to the end of the world, side by side not in front not from behind.
They’ll pick you up when you fall, help you laugh when you cry. Hold your hand when you’re scared, hug you when you’re unprepared. When life is against you, and you fall to pieces, they come to your aid and stitch you together.
When it rains in your heart, and you just can’t hold, there their so you can spell it all over them.
They make you remembers things you forgot yesterday, and make you laugh in a terrible situation.
They make them your rainbow after it rains, because they hope they can brighten your day.
There their so when you have to move away, they pack their bags. And say. ”Hey! I’m coming your way!”
There at the bottom when you’re ready to jump, ‘cause their not ready for you to be gone.
When life comes to an end, and you’re in your coffin, they’ll be sitting in the chair crying their hearts out. Thinking of the memories that you all shared, remembering all the bad times they wished they were there.
And before that coffin closes they’ll say the words.
“ I’ll be the first one to miss you, but the last one to forget all of the memories we shared as best friends, I’ll be by your side faster than you can imagine, we’ll be flying in the gates of Heaven. But for now, we’ll be side by side in heart.”
