My House of Cards
My House of Cards
A poem by Ankita
My house, I stack it
Carefully, with care
With thought and grace.
I do not look at my neighbour
Or my enemy.
Only for myself.
But when the wolf comes ‘round,
And blows upon me
My house,
My life,
My house of cards comes crashing down.
