Even Fate Has Consequences

You and I will dance around the fireplace and raise the dead.
I cant wait to see your face, I cant wait to hear what you've said.
You're body is calling, my ears are recieving your fingers are falling, my heart is leaving.
This all happened much to fast but you'll blame it all on me.
I walk with the stars by my side. I walk with the moon on my face.
I will try my best not to cry, I will try my best to achieve grace.
Walk on water, they say. To prove you're the best.
There has to be another way to put this all to rest.
You'll find me come day break, you'll find me and shake.
Face down in the center of the lake.
Some would call it fate, but we all know its a product of your hate.
You took all you could touch, you ran too fast.
Left me tangled in your rush.
All i wanted was for this to last.
I wanted to give you the sky, clouds and all.
But the sun was shining too bright, and off my high horse, blinded I fall.
I'd walk on water for you but lies have pulled me down.
And as the water fills my throat, and my face reaches the bottom,
I'll wish for you to come on a boat. I'll wish that I won't be forgotten.
When you hold her hand, you'll feel me.
When you breathe her in, you'll choke.
I won't be just another bird you set free. I won't be just another heart you broke.
