The First Few Months

Six months now
And all it seems
As if it were dreams.
Nothing reality can over come,
But can replace the simple memories
One may wish to relive.
But with a simple minded child
Who all she seeks is love and friendship,
It is hard.
For she is the outcast
Being forgotten and replaced
She just fades away
Even to her closest friends.
She was just a memory wishing to be remembered
But all she got was being forgotten and pushed a side
In the oh so lonely six months
That drive to be the worst year of her life.
