Knock Knock

Strangle my veins with your voice, voices, you,
Push out my bones, let them break my skin,
Freeze my blood, let it not boil, turn it to a shivering stone,
Envelope my objections, teach my heart to bow down to you,
Let me listen to you, your voices, not mine.

I feel you chase the pain in me, I feel you shift it under your wing,
Leaving me with nothing but you, you give me a journey away from the sky,
You snarl, your eyes are black, you feel the knocking on the door,
You fight and attack, all you can do is hide the knocking from me,
But I hear it.

Knock Knock,
Who's there?
Where's the Angel gone?
What Angel? That's not what she was, her voices, they are the plague,
They grip you, hold you, take you,
But I'm here to safe you,
Always.

Father hold me in your hands, Never let me escape you,
Saviour, Hope, you took me from her,
Now I crumble in your hands,
You lend the strength so I can stand,
You warm my blood, not to boil but to simmer,
You hold my skin as one,
You free my veins, they pump, they breath,
My thoughts you free, their me, your there.

Father hold me in your hands.
