From Good To Bad To Worse

Springtime breezes, oh so sweet
That it brings a tear to your eye
Although being sad is no easy feat
When you don't know how to lie

Staying up late
To dance all night
It wasn't called 'fate'
There never was a fight

Glowing orbs swirling on the walls
Transfixed by all the colors
Covered up by blanket-like shawls
But where in the world is mother?

Father is away
And you're left with nothing
Friends can keep you at bay
Until you go searching for something

Spitting up blood all alone in the bathroom
Disgusted by the broken mirror's reflection
Drag the blade across your skin as you glare at the moon
Close your eyes and pray for detection
