2 Feet Away From Love
When you’re a boy at 3 feet tall it won’t take you by surprise.
That you will hear a lot of times “You are not tall enough for this ride”
But one thing that sucks is that love is hard when you are only this tall.
Because cute taller girls can either look down or not see you at all.
But there is a particular girl that walks her brother home from school.
As I passed by on my way home, I said to her “Hey you must be Jewel”.
I almost gave up as she looked back surprisingly.
She said “I thought I heard someone call me. That sure is creepy”.
I guess I’ll stick to kindergarten cuties until I grow 2 feet.
I hope when I do I could find Jewel, and maybe she’ll turn around and notice me.
