Don't Tell Me

Your a child
What do you know?

These words drive me crazy
The truth hurts

What do I know?
I've only watched things happen
They never happened to me

What do I REALLY know?

It pains me to see them cry
To go wild
But I don't have the right to say a thing
I don't know how it feels like in their shoes

I don't know
I don't know at all

I want to help these people as they cry and beg for mercy
But all I can do is watch them
Be there for them
Hug them
And cry for them

I am a child
And I am all too naive

But let me be here for you
It's the only thing I can do

And, please

Don't tell me I'm useless . . . .
