Because He Wasn't You

He had the most gorgeous smile,
That danced across his lips.
He set my body on fire,
With a touch of his finger tips.

His deep, mysterious eyes,
Held a secret so untold.
The simple things he spoke to me,
Got to my very soul.

He was there for me at all the right times,
Knew all the right things to say.
So how could it be, that me being me,
I've went and pushed him away?

Because even though he knew just what to say,
He may have had all the right moves,
It never would've worked,
Because the boy just wasn't you.
