So far gone
So far off
You left us long ago
But your love still passes through us
You were a husband
A father of five
You were a grand dad
and had bees in the hives
One day you found out
You had an incurable disease
We all loved you
And that feeling will never leave
Then your day came
We wished we could all be by your side
We tried to be strong
And tried not to cry
Even though you're gone
You're still with us every day
In our hearts, in our minds
In spirit and soul, and every other way
I relayed for you
To help bring an end
To this horrible thing called cancer
So this disease will have an end
So far gone
So far off
You left us long ago
But your love still passes through us
You were a husband
A father of five
You were a grand dad
and had bees in the hives
One day you found out
You had an incurable disease
We all loved you
And that feeling will never leave
Then your day came
We wished we could all be by your side
We tried to be strong
And tried not to cry
Even though you're gone
You're still with us every day

In spirit and soul, and every other way

To this horrible thing called cancer
