The Sun and The Moon (Amy)

Dancing around,
In the snowglobe that is my life,
I stop and look for her.
In the dark, the snow turns to black
Meaning it becomes night and I can no longer
see.
And as I walk around the snow filled "box",
I stumble upon a girl named Amy...
"Who is there?" she asks.
"Only me." I reply.
We've met before,
We've danced many times together,
Slow and fast,
all
In this cold weather.
"Again? It's been so long.." Amy, precious Amy..
"Yes, indeed, such a while since our last meeting.."
I don't want to speak anymore.
And Amy knows it.
I can't see a thing in the dark,
but somehow she finds me,
and I pull her into my arms,
Letting her know that it
is now
safe, no more fear she must have.
I hold her close,
not knowing how much longer we have together before she returns
to her sunny filled days.
We are here together,
as one,
Night and darkness,
Moon and sun,
Our dance begins again,
Until the one parting us has won.
"Don't leave." I beg, and yet I know
it is useless.
She must return to the sky sometime.
"I love you. Again and forever, until the day that the world
No longer needs its shine."
This was it. The dance was ending.
Yet again, I had to say goodbye till the nightfall tomorrow.
"Goodbye ,my love. For now only until I see your
shining smile tomorrow."
Amy pulled away and looked
Up at me.
She smiled her sweet smile,
And went away.
This is what happens.
When the Moon
And the Sun meet at Midnight.
We dance, we talk,
We laugh and we walk.
Until the time when I must go back up
To the stars in my snowglobe,
and she must return to the clouds in her
blue filled world.
The Sun and The Moon.
A forbidden love,
and a forever lasting dance.
