The Sea

Rolling like the tongues of serpents,
Two mighty giants clash into one,
Battling tirelessly from morning light,
Way past the setting of evening sun.

As each drowns the other in its glory,
The ocean battle rages strongly on,
Overflowing to spill over the land,
Until all battleground is sunk and gone.

A final warring collision of waves,
A pause in a never ending contest,
The giants abandon their weapons,
The battle of the sea is laid to rest.
