No Way Out
Circles are the enemy
For there is no way out
You walk the perimeter
You scream, you kick and shout
You try to find an exit
And you start kicking the wall
Banging it with your fists
Hoping that it will fall
You find yourself sitting
And wondering what to do
For you've found yourself in a delimma
Without a suggestion or a clue.
You look up and down
At the ceiling then the floor
Looking for the answer
Or possibly a door
But you can't find the exit
No matter how many times you look
You feel like a character
In a Dr. Seuss book
You can sit there and cry
Throw a fit and try to pout
But you're forgetting you're in a circle
With no way out
For there is no way out
You walk the perimeter
You scream, you kick and shout
You try to find an exit
And you start kicking the wall
Banging it with your fists
Hoping that it will fall
You find yourself sitting
And wondering what to do
For you've found yourself in a delimma
Without a suggestion or a clue.
You look up and down
At the ceiling then the floor
Looking for the answer
Or possibly a door
But you can't find the exit
No matter how many times you look
You feel like a character
In a Dr. Seuss book
You can sit there and cry
Throw a fit and try to pout
But you're forgetting you're in a circle
With no way out
